Dia Tres - Tomamos un Autobus San Jose, CR

This is the main Bus Station in San Jose and is referred to as Coca Cola by everyone. Years ago there was a Coca Cola bottling plant there and the name just stuck.
The lady standing next to Sharon became a good friend as we conversed back and forth. She does not speak English and we do not speak Spanish, yet, but we somehow seemed to understand each other. When she got off the bus she smiled at us and waved enthusiastically. She lives in the small town of Piedades about 4 miles north of Colon. Posted by Picasa

Hi! We are missing you and Pam and Oak Island. We went kayaking this morning up Turmbull Creek. It is a pretty paddle but it is overcast today and cool. My flight was bumpy and a half hour late. I found Jimmy warm and happy to be down south. Also glad I was here.

The photos are great. It's amazing the beard that Don has grown so rapidly. He goes native in a hurry!

Don and Sharon,

I got drunk last night and almost had the nerve to buy plane tickets and come visit after seeing your photos. Do you still have room for us?

Dan

PS: Check your email - I sent you one.
