Day 22 - Gathering Groceries in Costa Rica!!

Dan & Phyllis arrived with the Oatmeal, Wine, Peanutbutter and Chocolate (Thank you Pam!!), but although a good start, we needed to hit the mall to get some groceries. We boarded the bus at Ciudad Colon and head toward the Multi Plaza for a few groceries. Dan had a difficult time getting the goods into his pack and then on his back, but with the help with Phyllis and Sharon he finally managed!!


All had a very uneventful ride home on the bus except for Sharon who was lucky, or unlucky, enough to sit next to a very friendly and talkative Tico who had mucho drinko!!! He was full of hand communication and since Sharon couldn't understand him she just told him he had too much vino just like Dan!!!
After departing the bus and leaving our "friend" behind, we were feeling pretty good. A quick stop at the Fruit and Vegetable stand and then "up the hill!!" Phyllis advised us that these were enough groceies to last us the week!!!
